| Some might think I’m old fashioned, but for me little surpasses curling up on the sofa to watch the latest good quality movie. I especially enjoy movies based on novels. I find they give you more to think about and discuss. Some of the latest movie trailers look promising. Among the latest movie trailers is There Will Be Blood. This movie, set in the 1890s, is about oil, religion and greed. A prospector named Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis) learns there is an oil supply on the impoverished Sunday family ranch in Little Boston, California. He soon discovers that his scheme to get his hands on the oil contests with the plan of the young church reverend Eli Sunday (Paul Dano). As the competition between prospectors mounts, Plainview’s coldhearted ambition descends into wicked insanity. This movie has enjoyed very positive critical reviews. Ninety one percent of reviewers on the Rotten Tomatoes site enjoyed it. There Will Be Blood is one of the most anticipated of all the latest movie trailers. I look forward to its DVD release on April 8. |
