“How to Lose Friends and Alienate People” is a new movie release due in the theaters October 3. It is an extremely funny, fish-out-of-water story that follows the outrageous adventures of Sidney Young, portrayed by Simon Pegg. In this new movie release, a small-time, bubbling British Celeb journalist is hired by an upscale magazine in New York City and his new job just might be a little over his head.
Sidney Young enters the high society arena and ends up burning one bridge after another with his bosses, peers and superstars. As examples, Sidney instantly insults and annoys his fellow writer, Alison Olsen played by Kirsten Dunst and he upsets his direct boss and to tries to repair the damage by hiring a stripper to dance for him during a staff meeting.
This new movie release also stars Jeff Bridges, Danny Huston, Gillian Alexander, and Megan Foxmore.
