Because it is much cheaper to rent the DVDs, we tend to watch more movies at home most of the time. We reserve viewing first run movies at the theater to the ones we perceive as going to be really good.

We also rely on movie reviews to make decisions about the best movies to watch in the theater, besides watching the new movie trailers. Sometimes we watch movie previews at home online, too, but most of the time our Internet connection is too slow. The infrastructure here is pretty old and the phone company isn't able to provide us with the highest speed connections, so our bandwidth is limited. But between the movie reviews and new movie trailers at the theater, we stay on top of what's new.
